Ever wanted to know whether you’re one of the top Disney fans in the country?
Do you know Sleeping Beauty’s Castle from Cinderella’s?
How about Walt Disney’s childhood trivia or the answers to those sneaky theme park secrets?
AttractionTickets.com sent me over this fab opportunity and you can join in too. They have launched a UK-based Disney University, giving die-hard fans like us lot, the chance to earn an actual Mickey Mouse Degree. Super cool!
It might be school exam results time, but add this bad boy to your CV and who knows where it will take you in the future... note, not an ‘official’ qualification and will realistically give you bragging rights at most.
Challenge your family, challenge your friends… but most of all, challenge yourself… and that's exactly what I did. I thought I had all the answers, but I was wrong...very, very wrong. As it turns out, there are a lot of cruise ships, a lot of resorts around the world, tons of parks and decades worth of history galore to get your head around.
I’d like to think of myself as a worthy Disney super fan, but as it turns out I'm better at ordering a Casey's hotdog than tackling some of the trickier questions that appeared. For example, which Disney Resort did The Beatles break up? Or what building in Disneyland Resort in California did Walt have a secret apartment in?
I didn't even know The Beatles were Disney fans...

Do you know who the first left-handed Disney princess was? Nope, I didn’t either. Also, pssst, I know it’s Tiana from 2009’s The Princess and the Frog and was a detail inspired by her voice actress, Anika Noni Rose, who is also left-handed. What an Easter egg! That's Disney magic at its best for you.
So the results are in... and, well, they're not. As it turns out, you'll only receive your certificate to your email on one condition.
You have to score at least 70% and guess who had a very clear inbox? You guessed it! In fact, in utter disbelief I even did an exam resit in desperation. I still hilariously failed miserably it seems.
You might have better luck than me though and AttractionTickets.com are giving you the chance to win a special graduation prize for validating your Disney expertise so it's worth a punt. As a Mickey Mouse Degree undergrad, you'll take the 50-question online quiz, developed by AttractionTickets.com’s own in-house Disney experts, covering everything from the names of beloved characters to lesser-known trivia about Disney’s iconic cruises. Those who pass (ahem, no comment) will receive their degree, and high scorers will be entered into a prize draw to win a graduation gift worth over £30.
There are three modules to take:
Module 1 - Full of Character: The Personalities Behind our Favourite Disney Animations
Module 2 - The Main Attraction: Disney Rides and Entertainment Across the World
Module 3 - We Keep Moving Forward: The Past, Present and Future of Disney
Chris Bradshaw, Marketing Director at AttractionTickets.com, told me: “We know clearing season and results day can be stressful, so we wanted to create something light-hearted that gives people a reason to smile.
"Our Mickey Mouse Degree is a fun way for fans to celebrate their love of Disney while challenging themselves with a mix of trivia questions to find out if they are indeed one of the top Disney fans in the country. We can’t wait to see some of our top students receive their special Disney graduation surprise in the post.”
